Accomplished completion engineering leader with nearly two decades of experience across major U.S. shale basins. As Director of Completions at AlterG, she brings a strong blend of technical expertise, operational discipline, and team-focused leadership.
Her career includes key roles at Marathon Oil, where she led Oklahoma Northern Delaware completion operations and supported development across the Bakken, SCOOP/STACK, Eagle Ford, and Permian. Her earlier tenure at Chevron further strengthened her basin versatility, with engineering and leadership roles spanning the Delaware, Permian, and Marcellus/Utica plays. Beginning her career, she developed a solid field and engineering foundation across the Devonian Shale, Berea Sandstone, Woodford, and Barnett plays.
Rachel R. Hranitzky serves as Legal Counsel for AlterG Resources LLC, bringing over 30 years of legal expertise to the company's geothermal energy initiatives. She oversees all legal operations including corporate governance, regulatory compliance, contract management, risk assessment, and human resources.
Rachel earned her Juris Doctor from Southern Methodist University and holds a Bachelor of Arts from Texas Christian University. Her career includes senior legal roles across energy, financial services, and property management sectors, as well as service as a federal prosecutor with the United States Department of Justice.
At AlterG, Rachel manages all company legal documents, directs compliance and insurance programs, oversees human resources operations, and provides strategic counsel on large-scale geothermal power project development. Her comprehensive experience in regulatory matters and corporate operations enables her to deliver practical, strategic solutions that support AlterG's mission and growth.
Seasoned energy executive with extensive experience leading complex land negotiations, large-scale asset management, and strategic development initiatives across major U.S. oil and gas basins. As Director of Land for Seneca Resources Company, he guides a team of more than twenty professionals and manages a land position exceeding 1.2 million acres. Rodney plays a key role in shaping corporate strategy, optimizing asset value, and executing intricate transactions with private, corporate, and governmental stakeholders.
Before joining Seneca, he led a boutique consulting firm focused on energy transactions and previously served as Vice President of Land for both PDC Energy and Forge Energy Operating. His work included major A&D initiatives, regulatory engagement, multi-basin asset oversight, and the successful negotiation of a landmark $1.1 billion divestiture. Rodney’s 26-year tenure at BP further established his reputation as a strategic negotiator and land leader, contributing to significant acquisitions, portfolio expansions, and development programs across the Lower 48.
With a career defined by leadership, technical expertise, and results-driven execution, Rodney brings a proven ability to deliver value, manage risk, and drive organizational success.
35+ years of reservoir engineering, field development, production operations, and reservoir simulation experience across global conventional and unconventional assets including the Permian, North Sea, Egypt, & Thailand.
Distinguished geoscientist with 28 years of global experience in the oil and gas industry.
Joining AlterG in November 2025 from APA Corporation, she previously led all global exploration and appraisal programs, managing diverse assets in Suriname, Uruguay, Alaska, and Egypt.
Prior to that, Lorna spent 25 years at ConocoPhillips in leadership roles in Aberdeen, Stavanger, Calgary, Anchorage, and Houston, driving new ventures exploration and leading large-scale exploration, appraisal, and development programs worldwide.
As a proven leader, Lorna directed the Eagle Ford unconventional development program, overseeing a $1B+ annual budget and leading 70 subsurface staff in capital planning, development strategy, geological operations, reservoir characterization, and innovative technology pilots.
Her deep expertise in frontier basins and program execution directly applies to geothermal energy, positioning her to lead exploration and development initiatives.
Seasoned global drilling and completions executive with 20+ years of leadership across deepwater, unconventional, and international operations. Successfully directed a $2B annual capital program at Apache, delivering 200+ wells per year and enabling a 400 MBOE/day production target while leading a 400-person multinational team.
Achieved a 70% reduction in serious incidents, unlocked a $10B Suriname development through five deepwater discoveries, and generated over $150MM in annual savings via technology adoption and performance optimization. Known for building operational capability in emerging regions, executing complex offshore and onshore programs, and driving continuous improvement in safety, cost, and efficiency. Proven ability to lead large, diverse organizations and deliver top-quartile operational excellence in challenging, high-risk environments.
